DALINA MANOR is a redevelopment of an existing Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) building into a new affordable senior apartment community. The site falls within the Hopelawn VFW Rehabilitation Plan Zone. The demolition of the existing building was followed by the construction of a new a four- story building with parking area, lighting, and drainage improvements.
The building houses 48 one-bedroom and 9 two-bedroom apartments (57 total), along with a two- story entry lobby, a leasing suite, a social services office, a large community room, fitness center, two elevators, a mailroom, maintenance and mechanical space, trash rooms, and ancillary support and service spaces. Apartments have over-sized windows that allow an abundance of sunlight infiltrating the open, flowing living-dining-kitchen area and large bedrooms.
